"Pick of the Day" - D'Angelico New Yorker

Today's pick is a very special guitar, built by John D'Angelico - a 1955 New Yorker! With that in mind, we spent a little extra time on this one, beginning with the history of the instrument as told by Jay, and a demonstration of its DeArmond pickup by our guest Nick Vassallo. We had originally intended to have Nick play this guitar on his previous Friends Pick Friday video, but thought it deserved a video of its own! For amplification, we used a fantastic 1966 Fender Super Reverb.
