Exploring Washington D.C. :: Donut Tour, Spy Museum, White House, Omni Shoreham & MORE!

My first day in DC starts with a tour of the hotel I'll be calling "home" for the next several day, the Omni Shoreham. This historic hotel has hosted the Beatles, many presidential inaugurations, and so much more! We then head out on the Underground Donut Tour which was SO much fun! It was more than just great donuts as the tour included lots of historical facts as well. Then we spent some time at the National Art Galley where we got to see Monet, Van Gogh and MANY other famous artists. We then headed down the National Mall over to the Spy Museum... WOW! This museum was SO much fun and so insightful, and honestly... a little terrifying. I'm definitely more paranoid since visiting. Ha!

This was a full first day, but it was so fun and memorable. I'm thankful we had this free time in D.C. before starting work for the week!
