We’re sharing our stand at South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA)'s #Windaba2021 with four entrepreneurs who typify the #EnterpriseCulture that our Economic Development teams are helping to create in their local wind farm communities.

Michael Brooks has set-up a mini soilless hydroponic system to demonstrate how his start-up business, #TotalVeggieGardens, is cultivating crops with just nutrient and mineral-rich water. And safemaker Michelle Van Wyngaard is showcasing a range of steel strongboxes that provide peace of mind for many in rural areas of the Northern Cape.

Andrey Andres has also been explaining how he provides food security in local schools, soup kitchens and care homes through his organic farming and soul gardening business. And Clive Lombaard, of #LombaardEnterprises, is displaying furniture he crafts from recycled pallet wood.

All have received assistance in growing their businesses from our #ED teams at Noupoort and Perdekraal East wind farms. Watch this video to see how our programmes have been empowering many other people to change their futures over the past 12 months.
