Alan Wake 2 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Today we archive my favorite game of 2023. I was a huge fan of the first Alan Wake and have completed it multiple times as I was a huge fan of the Twin Peaks vibe and that beautiful setting of Washington State. American Nightmare was also great, but focused less on the story side and we had to then wait 13 years for a sequel to the epic saga.
And from the moment I played Alan Wake 2 I was intrigued. From the sinister opening to meeting our FBI protagonists or being reunited with our beloved writer Alan Wake himself. The game looks amazing and I have a weak spot for detective games, so I was really happy to find out that we get to do plenty of detective work in this game.
The game is divided up in two gameplay segments where one focuses more on doing detective work as the FBI agent while Alan Wake's segments focus more on survival horror and completing twisted environmental puzzles.
My favorite parts were definitely the ones that involved the FBI agent and I adored how much bigger the town of Bright Falls had gotten and how alive the place felt. Alan Wake 2 gives even more room to breathe in the atmosphere and Twin Peaks vibes compared to the first entry. It really makes me want to explore every corner thoroughly and even makes me want to visit a town like this in the Pacific Northwest in real life.
And of course we cannot forget about one of the most amazing moments in gaming history during the chapter We Sing. Bravo Remedy. You have made another instant classic!
