In 1994 Solihull Borough Social Club in the West Midlands, UK, took a coach trip to Granada Studios in Manchester to join a tour of the Studios which included the Coronation Street Set which has since been demolished and replaced by an identical but more extensive Set. Young Mark handed out our tickets as we descended from the coach and would later struggle with technology whilst delivering a weather report on camera! My partner, Jan, not the most outgoing of persons acquited herself well in delivering news items to camera. There is a shortened 17 minute version that excludes lengthy sections such as activity in The House of Commons Set.
