My AMAZING Scenic trip from Luzern to Lugano via the Gotthard Pass. What a Train!

You have got to watch this! A truly amazing, awe-inspiring and thought-provoking journey from Luzern to Lugano (via the Gotthard Pass) with Swiss Federal Railways on one of their ‘Giruno’ high-speed trains. And what a train it was!

The weather was a bit grey as we left Luzern but things soon started to brighten up and I'm so glad it did because the views as we made our way south were superb. Everything you would expect from one of these iconic Swiss Railway journeys - and more!

I'll show you all the sights as we head towards the famous Gotthard Pass and I'll tell you all about the train, what to expect and, of course, how much it all costs and the best way to get real value from one of these trips in Switzerland. It's not cheap but there are ways of doing it for less!

I'll summarise the journey once we arrive in Lugano and I hope you'll agree, it was certainly one epic journey you really should try yourself if you can.
