It is nearly 32 km. from Guwahati and located on banks of the river Brahmaputra. Poa Mecca also known as Quarter of Mecca and believed that it contains sacred soil of Mecca. Thus it is very important for the Muslim Community. Though irrespective of Caste and Community Hindus, Muslims or Christians can offer pray here. A very religious with lots of beautiful landscape to attract here.
