Realization of the Geležinis Vilkas project in Vilnius with Amiblu GRP jacking pipes

The Geležinis Vilkas project in Vilnus, Lithuania aims to address flooding caused by heavy rains and urbanization issues. For the reconstruction of the sewage network, Amiblu GRP jacking pipes were laid at a depth up to 20 meters. With a total of 1631 m of Amiblu GRP pipes, the microtunneling route is the country's longest and deepest. It features GRP pipes with a diameter of 2250 mm and a stiffness up to 80,000 N/m². Amiblu manholes and fittings complete the system. The project not only resolves flooding risks in the city center but also enhances the infrastructure with recreational spaces for residents.
