How to Set Up Lechuza Self-Watering Planter|Soil to Pon | Repotting Monstera Thai Constellation

Hello everyone!

Learn with me about Lechuza pon and self-watering planters as I repot my Monstera Thai Constellation in a self-watering pot.🥰🌸🌿

It’s time to repot my Variegated Monstera Thai Constellation! I have received my Thai Constellation from Patch Plants last 2nd of April 2021 and it arrived in a small pot with some roots already coming out from the bottom of the pot.

Upon learning more about Lechuza Pon and their self-watering planters that are also available from the same brand, I have decided to transition my Monstera Thai Constellation from soil to pon. I am gradually transitioning it for the mean time with me mixing the pon with soil first to get it ready to be transferred fully to pon in the future.

Variegated Monstera Thai constellation is a beautiful variegated plant, unlike the Monstera Albo Borsigiana Variegata it owes its variegation to a mutation so these plants are cloned through tissue culture. Variegation tends to be more creamy in colour than the Monstera Albo Borsigiana Variegata, it is speckled and unpredictable - hence the name ‘Constellation’, the variegation is also stable (white parts won’t revert to green). Internodal spacing is generally a lot shorter in Variegated Monstera Thai Constellation, leaf size is much larger than the Monstera Albo. You can expect this plant to grow fairly large.
