INFLATABLE CANOE SEVYLOR ADVENTURE PLUS | Part 1 River Ant - Ludham Bridge - Barton Broad

Описание к видео INFLATABLE CANOE SEVYLOR ADVENTURE PLUS | Part 1 River Ant - Ludham Bridge - Barton Broad

Hi folks!

PART 1 of 2

In this video I'm out on my Sevylor Adventure Plus inflatable canoe for a paddle and a 24 hour wild camp. I am exploring the Norfolk Broads from Ludham Bridge to Sutton Staithe, about 10km (6miles) via Barton Broad - Norfolk's second largest broad and the only one with an Island!

I'll tell you about my paddle, equipment, some of the local history and look out for local nature - such as Britain's rarest Butterfly - the Swallowtail (Papilio machaon britannicus).

The route follows the River Ant, north past several disused wind water-pumps; through How Hill, Irsted Staithe, Barton Broad and into Barton Turf. That's the end point in this video.

I highlight some of the countryside in drone shots, which I hope you will enjoy.

In part 2 (another video) I paddle out of Barton turf and I wild camp under a 3 x 3 Tarp and cook stake & mushrooms, I will share with you the rest of my canoe equipment and kit, before an early morning paddle to Sutton Staithe.

Thanks for watching.
