They say 'When kids grow up not seeing themselves in books they grow up feeling like they don't matter' (Eric Smith) and thats exactly why representation matters.

I haven't uploaded on youtube for a long time and most of my make up videos are now in the archives #mumlife #notcomplaining but this was just too special to me not to share.

Thank you to Penwizard (www.penwizard.com) for allowing me to see this much happiness in Mayah's face from seeing herself in a book with Pepper Pig, one of her fav characters on TV.

An even bigger thank you for the 'My Granny' Book. With Mayah losing her Granny a little under 6 months ago, this was just the best gift to be able to talk about her Granny and remember all the fun things she used to do with her.

That is priceless.
