This game is great! I played and completed it once on PlayStation 4 back in 2019. Now, I can play it again on PS5 with a $10 upgrade to Days Gone: Remastered.

Lure hordes with the Attractor then use Explosive Bolt to clear them.

The Crossbow is a special weapon in Days Gone, excelling in stealth but requiring mastery due to its unique mechanics:
-Projectile Drop: Bolts are affected by gravity over distance.
-Slow Reload: Longer than most weapons.
-Crafting Dependency: Effectiveness scales with bolt variety.

Bolt Types & Uses:
Bolt Type:
-Standard: Silent, moderate damage, Stealth kills
-Residue: Turns enemies against each other, Chaos in enemy groups
-Incendiary: Ignites targets on contact, Destroying nests from afar
-Poison: Deals damage over time, Weakening tough enemies
-Explosive: High burst damage to groups or single strong enemies, Crowd control / heavy targets

Limitations:
-Weak vs. Hordes/Strong Enemies: Bolt damage is insufficient for large threats.
-Rare Resources: Crafting materials are scarce.
-Niche Role: Best reserved for specific missions, not general combat.
A high-skill, high-reward tool for stealth specialists, but impractical for open warfare.

This game offers a lot of melee weapons for you to try, and it’s fun to use them. The Ripper Blade, Fire Axe, & Machete are available early in the game, you can kill normal enemies with just a few hits. Later in the game, the Superior Metal Axe becomes available; this overpowered weapon is so strong that only a few boss enemies can withstand its damage. It gave me the feeling of playing God of War again!

This game delivers an explosive arsenal of throwable items including Molotovs, Proximity Mines, Grenades and Pipe Bombs - all exceptionally satisfying and devastating against enemies. The weapon selection is equally impressive, featuring early access to powerful firearms like the MG45 & RPD Machine Gun, M40 Sniper Rifle, and AK-47, where players can eliminate standard enemies with just one precise headshot, delivering that classic Counter-Strike thrill!

For strategic upgrades, investing your hard-earned cash at Camps is highly recommended. The SWAT-10 Rifle, C8 Sniper Rifle & Lil's Stubby Sidearm Shotgun proves particularly deadly and worth every dollar.
