A Review of the Nikon 50mm f1 2 AI-S in Shinjuku

... in which I test a legendary 'Light Bucket' lens from Nikon. For over 40 years, the Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AI-S lens has been a staple professional lens. Achieving almost legendary status, it is only with the advent of the Z mount have they released an autofocus version. To try it out I take it out... on the streets of Shinjuku Tokyo and then do a few highly unscientific tests to see if it lives up to it's promise at f/1.2 and find the optimal aperture for all types of photography.
