Alex Borstein - Changes/I Can Change/Heroes Medley

Описание к видео Alex Borstein - Changes/I Can Change/Heroes Medley

None of this is mine, I just couldn't find it online. The ideas belong to Alex Borstein, Salvador Rey, and Eric Mills and those they are paying tribute to in this medley. The rights belong to whomever they needed to sell their ideas to in order to make this happen.

This "Road to Hell pavement" has been brought to you by: "Corsets and Clown Suits" via "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" via "The Gilmore Girls" via "my mother serious told me I was Rory which is one of the many confusing ways she loves me".

Alex Borstein has a new comedy special and this song is in it. You might know her as the voice of Lois Griffin or Susie Myerson in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I know her as the woman who stars in lots of things written by Amy Sherman-Palladino - the woman who created Gilmore Girls. That is a show about a really fucked up, perfectly average family with a very strong emphasis on a mother exhibiting narcissistic behaviors named Emily, her daughter Lorelai, and Lorelai's daughter Rory. I used to watch this show with my mom as a teenager/20 something as it originally aired in the early aughts. We watched it together again when A Year in the Life came out. She said to me something along the lines of, "Is it strange watching this show now as an adult since you identify as the Rory character?" I'm proud I actually said, "No, mom. I have always identified with Lorelai and I still do." We're still working on the hurt that conversation caused for everyone, but we don't discuss it using English yet. Love hurts, man.

Thank you, Alex Borstein.
