The Keep is a restaurant and music venue located in Jinja, Uganda. We serve American food and host the fastest Internet cafe in town.

We operate as a service to the local community and the volunteers, ex-pats and workers that are trying to make a difference in one of the most disadvantaged countries on the planet.

We host live music performances every Friday night from 8-10pm, but our program is not about making us money.

Instead, we work hard to promote artists and provide maximum visibility and a world stage for their talents.

Our performers receive 100% of all cover collected, as well as a free professional audio CD, MP3's, video DVD, YouTube uploads and Internet audio stream of their performance.

This promotional package is provided free of charge, in contrast to the studios which charge astronomical fees for these services.
