Ever Seen A Golden Mole???

I was pretty excited to pull this little excavator from the earth! It was a beautiful colored golden mole! I have only caught one other like this one. Moles do come in many different colors. The ones I catch are mostly gray or black but I’ve seen others catch moles with orange patches mixed in and then there are the more rare white albino moles. This one had eluded me for some time. He had been working the area between two of my neighbors adjoining yards. He was making trails from one yard to the next. When I first saw him working I had to be patient because he was near a mound. I needed to wait until there was some distance between him and the mound or his way of escape. I waited…he moved…I pounded… SUCCESS! A beautiful golden mole and two happy neighbors! Mission Accomplished! 👊🏻💪🏻🤠
