My first time to witnessed Sankthans ( derived from St. Johns) celebration. Norwegians celebrate this on June 23 every year. They built a bonfire along the coast and lit it in the evening.

This tradition is a sign of brightness. The longest day light of the year. This is the symbol of midsummer celebration.

People gather together to watch this event, specially kids they love this and they enjoy watching all the way. As I enjoyed too...
