Keep your car clean this winter! Adam's Winter Preparation Kit comes with key products to protect your vehicle's finish from all of the nastiness that winter weather throws at it.

After washing with one of our favorites, Adam's Car Shampoo, and drying, you're ready to start with this kit. First up is Adam's Clay Mitt: mist the included Adam's Detail Spray onto a clean panel to lubricate the surface, then glide the Clay Mitt over the surface to remove any contamination that a normal Two Bucket Wash may not remove, then wipe away the residue with one of the included Double Soft Towels. You will be amazed at how smooth and slick the Clay Mitt will leave the surface feeling. Since you're already claying, move onto the windshield, side windows, and rear window next. This time, use Adam's Glass Cleaner as the lubricant for the clay and then wipe away the residue with the same towel.

With the whole exterior now clayed and smooth, it's time to get everything protected against snow, salt, magnesium chloride, ash, and anything else the road crews in your area may use for snow removal! Work in the shade or garage if possible for these next steps. Thoroughly shake Adam's Paint Sealant (making sure that the cap is fully closed first!), then pour a small amount onto the included Red Hex Grip Hand Applicator. Spread the Paint Sealant across a body panel in an even layer - left/right and up/down to ensure full coverage. Make sure to apply it thin, since putting it on thick wastes product and makes removal more difficult. Allow the panel to haze up for 5-10 minutes, then use the second clean Double Soft Towel to wipe away the Paint Sealant residue and admire the shine! You can work one panel at a time, or apply to a few panels at once and then go back to the first panel and begin removal of the sealant residue.

The paint is taken care of and protected, so it's time to seal all of the exterior glass to make rain dance off of your windshield, and to make snow and slush removal much easier! Apply Glass Sealant first - for the windshield and rear window, we recommend applying to half of the glass, and then moving onto the other side. Pour a small amount of Glass Sealant into one of the included Microfiber Applicator Pads, then pour a bit more across half of the windshield, near the top of the windshield since it will begin to streak down. Using the Microfiber Applicator, spread the Glass Sealant evenly across the glass, going in left/right and up/down movements to ensure full coverage. Allow the Glass Sealant to haze up for 1-2 minutes, then mist a small amount of Glass Cleaner onto the surface and wipe away with a clean side of the Double Soft Towel. Repeat this process for the other half of the windshield, side windows, and rear window.

You can then add even more protection and water-repellency to your glass by going over the Glass Sealant with Glass Boost! Simply spray Glass Boost onto the exterior glass, spread it with the second Microfiber Applicator Pad, and then wipe away for an awesome streak-free finish. Use the Glass Boost twice per month to maintain water-beading protection all winter long!
