2. Elimination of Voids and "Bugholes"
The steady and rhythmic movement serves as a vital degassing process. It forces trapped air pockets to migrate:
Internal Air: Larger bubbles rise to the top and escape.
Surface Voids: Small air pockets (often called "bugholes") are pushed away from the mold's face.
