This third installment in this series on Classical New Age music explores the period between the 1970s and 1990s, when attempts were made to create a "World Harmony" that would not only bridge the gap between the Western and Eastern worlds, but also foster the healing of diverse musical styles, exploring "other worlds" through ethnic instruments, natural sounds, world rhythms, Eastern melodies, and complex jazz-rock fusion rhythms and harmonies.
With over two hours of music, this playlist attempts to provide a sonic synthesis of that wonderful and fruitful period in the history of music.
