Join us on a magical Christmas adventure as we fly from Birmingham Airport to Rovaniemi, Finland with TUI on a festive Lapland flight 🎅❄️

The experience starts right at check-in where we’re greeted by elves who take our bags and set the tone for what’s to come. Security at Birmingham Airport is swift and efficient, giving us plenty of time to explore airside.

We head into a slightly disappointing duty free, including a stop at the so-called World of Whisky — sadly lacking anything truly spectacular. After a walk through the departure lounge, we stop for a quick drink at Shelby & Co before making our way to the gate.

Things turn magical again as elves reappear at the gate, launching a surprise snowball fight with passengers ⛄😂 before we board our TUI flight. Once onboard, we review the included inflight meal, while the children receive a festive activity pack as part of the Lapland package.

We depart Birmingham on time and enjoy some stunning aerial footage as we descend into snow-covered Rovaniemi. Arrival is smooth, with an efficient border experience and baggage collection before boarding our transfer coach Comet.

The journey continues through snowy woodland landscapes, singing Christmas songs along the way, before finally arriving at our destination — Winter Wonderland Hotel, also known as Bear’s Lodge 🐻✨
