On April 15th 2023, the First Citizens Supernovas under the leadership of Amrit Samaroo hosted the 4th edition of their "A Day in Surrey" which usually features a number of steel orchestras. After being struck by the COVID-19 virus and fighting through a pandemic, the Supernovas Steel Orchestra ensured that to assist the population in returning to some level of normalcy that they continue in a tradition that has been formed in the years pre-pandemic.
