Weekly Vlog #99 - Local Market, A Difficult Appointment with my Leg Surgeon & Getting a Flu Jab

Hello and welcome back to another Weekly Vlog (or a big welcome if you're new here!) This week was pretty stressful one way or another. On Monday, I spoke about new restrictions possibly coming in due to rising Covid cases. And also discussed the ONS statistics relating to deaths of disabled people, which are pretty scary reading. On a lighter note, I also ask for your suggestions on finding comfortable jeans!

On Tuesday, my Mum and I wandered down to our local market for the first time, which was nice. We picked up a few yummy treats and had a look round a charity shop too. On Wednesday, I heard from the hospital who have booked me in to have my Day Surgery injections next week. I also managed to miss my Respiratory Physio appointment, which was frustrating. But I opened a lovely Mulan mug that my friend, Lydia, had sent me, which made me smile.

On Thursday, Emma and Maisie came round for the day, so it was lovely to spend some time with them. Unfortunately I got a message to say my carer/PA has pulled out, so I'm back to square one again. Friday was a really early start so we could get to London for my hospital appointments. Unfortunately it wasn't the best day, as the car broke down and then my surgeon wasn't sure what's causing all the problems I'm having with my knee. So I felt pretty sad and confused about everything.

On Saturday, my Mum and I went to get our Flu Jabs, then I had a quiet day trying to recover from my trip to London. Sunday was also fairly quiet, as I was still feeling quite down, so I did some more tidying in my bedroom.
