Household Debt At Record High: Touches Around 40% Of India’s Gross Domestic Product

Household debt in India is skyrocketing. It stood at 39.1% of GDP in Q3 FY24 (Oct-Dec). However, a year ago, in the same quarter, the household debt stood at 36.7% of the country's GDP.
