Race #8 in the series took us to Farris Memorial Park in Mayodan NC for a fast and flowey, with a few rock gardens, 3 lap 12.76 mile sprint race. This course was a nice change of pace from the last 2 races in Virginia. My average speed was 12.2 mph. The sudden rock gardens slowed the pace a little. The hill climbing was gradual, nothing really steep or technical and only totalling 837 ft ascending. I placed 1st in this race and secured a win for the overall series points in my category .With only 3 races left I may consider racing CAT 2 just for the experience. Only if it doesn't disqualify me from winning CAT 3. The next race is 7/14/24 at Bur-Mill Park , Greensboro NC. Hope to see you there. Go CUTTERS!
