When I first heard this song, I was caught in-between 2 people. One person wanted to be the best but was never willing or able to set aside his own demons long enough to recognize it was trauma.
The other person, the one who struck me with his energy the moment I walked into a convenient store, was purring with unconditional happiness despite a nasty situation he was in. We both bonded in those few seconds he was checking me out, and we both couldn't get enough of each other.

This song became my lifeline in that moment, along with a few others, and now when I listen, I think of him and how we could have been something so much more than what we had for the short amount of time we were together. Thank you for listening.

This song will forever haunt me! I've re-done this song more times than I can count, and my brain still has a hard time processing this key. I think this is the best one I've done, and I am sticking to it!
