Learning-aided channel estimation for 5G NR

Channel estimation in 5G NR has been looked at from two different perspectives. On the one hand, we have LMMSE interpolation-based techniques which exploit online channel statistics. On the other hand, we have black box machine learning techniques that only leverage offline statistics. Check out our learning-aided channel estimation technique that is designed to incorporate online statistics within machine learning [1].
