Although the popularity of taxi services has declined slightly due to ride-sharing services like Uber, and Lyft around the world, taxis are still one of the most common modes of transportation in almost all cities. But Bangladesh is the only exception. Dhaka is the 6th largest megacity in the world in terms of population. But currently, there is no taxi service in this city. Around 2014-15, yellow taxis could still be seen in Dhaka, but now they are hardly seen. In today's video, we will explore what exactly is the reason that there are no taxicabs on the streets of Chittagong or Dhaka?
