Opportunity and equality for all?

How can policy best address inequality? As the 2008 global financial crisis showed, the benefits of economic growth do not trickle down to all; and for a sustainable recovery, growth must be inclusive. The OECD has launched the Centre for Opportunity and Equality to promote its research and provide a forum to discuss how policies can best address inequalities in areas including income, wealth, health and education, and their social and economic consequences. Policies must be redesigned to boost growth and inclusiveness so that everyone and every place can benefit from the wealth generated from economic growth.
