Stories to Remember: The Face (Rare Short Film)

"The Face" is a 1998 Iain McCaig short film created for the Stories to Remember series, which, from what I can gather, was a series of family entertainment videos meant to teach children moral lessons. This is the first time The Face has been made available in any sort of digital medium; I transferred it from a VHS copy of the short myself.

From the back of the VHS case:
"Inspired by a traditional Zen parable, this film tells of a young boy, his friends, and a storyteller (whose yarns come alive in glorious computer animation). Nearing his end, the storyteller announces he will bestow his magical story mask ("the Face") on whoever does best planting a magic seed."

Starring Coy Perkins as the storyteller and a young Alex Brightman (of Broadway's Beetlejuice and School of Rock) as the aforementioned young boy.
