You can’t control when landing a Black-Flash and that’s completely true. Nobody can force their Cursed-Energy to flash Black out of nowhere, it just doesn’t work that way. Even with Gojo’s Six-Eyes and Limitless Cursed-Technique it’s really just down to luck, or at least that’s what you’d think. Nobody lands Black-Flashes by mistake, it’s never a coincidence. It’s Jujutsu Kaisens own critical blow, it’s a game changer even for Special-Grades. Landing a Black-Flash fundamentally isn’t just luck, you can definitely increase your chances. It’s never guaranteed but it’s also not completely random. It’s not like people just hit Black-Flashes by accident, there’s more than one way to increase your chances too. But even then Gojo says it just comes down to luck, even while playing by the rules you can’t just win a Black-Flash. Moments before igniting the black sparks there’s one similarity. Each time Cursed-Energy flashes back there’s a certain aspect to each mindset of the sorcerer that’s all too consistent. Giving into a state of mind that creates the most uncontrollable aspect to Cursed-Energy. I’ll go over what makes Black-Flashes happen and why they're not really as random as you’d think.
