Whisky.com reviews the Ballechin Oloroso Sherry 12 Years 2009 / 2022. The smoky Ballechin was named after a now-closed farmhouse distillery and comes from Edradour's Straight from the Cask (SFTC) series. For this single malt, Andrew Symington experimented with different cask types. This cask strength Highlander matured for 12 years in an oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at 55.4% ABV.
