Solo The Wave! Exploring more of North Coyote Buttes Sand Cove Second Wave Photography 2 Utah Hikers

There is so much more to explore in North Coyote Buttes, it is impossible to do in one day!
The Permit process for The Wave has changed. Go to Recreation.gov. Search for North Coyote Buttes and follow the directions to enter the lottery. If you are lucky enough to get a permit, plan your trip carefully to make the most of it! Summer months are very hot and can be deadly. Accessing other areas near the wave can be very strenuous. This particular day, I put in about 10 miles total of exploration and did not accomplish all I wanted to on a hot summer day. Be sensible about what you can do in a day safely.
Sand Cove and the Second Wave are just a couple of the amazing features aside from the main attraction. There is so much more!
