Now that their looted resources are no longer helping them maintain a high living standard, they are fighting for separation from each other. The separation, whenever it happens will be very bitter one. The British Empire currency has taken a downslide. There has been a lack of confidence in the fiscal prudence of the British Government. There are good chances of socialist leaning governments coming to power who will dole out record amounts of subsidies and make UK bankrupt in a tearing hurry. UK was declining for a long time but due to the American influence and monetary system, they were hanging on. Now that bluff has been called.
