We are inside a volcano! (Lake Batur and Rural Bali)

Today we will leave Ubud and the southern plains of Bali and embark on an adventure in the north of this island.
We will leave the tropical climate behind and venture the mountains of Bali.
On the way, let's make a stop at the Tirta Empul temple, where thousands of people come to take a revitalising bath in the holy spring, we will explore other temples in the neighbouring villages, Pura Mengening and Pura Pegulingan that are honestly some of the most un-touristy spots on Bali I have ever seen.
On our way to the north, we will enter the Batur crater, where one of the most beautiful natural features of Bali lies - the Batur lake and towering abover it - the Mount Batur.
We will not climb up yet, we will take a stroll down the villages in the crater, enjoy local daily lives and amazing sceneries.
And you thought that Bali can only be hot and wet, right?
