First Electronically Operated Swing Bridge in Florida 1932

Описание к видео First Electronically Operated Swing Bridge in Florida 1932

The First Electronically Operated Swing Bridge in Florida in 1932 was the Lake Monroe Bridge in Sanford, Florida located in Volusia County. Given that I am a railroad archaeologist and this isn't Railroad related, but it is a historical landmark located parallel to a railway, and it is something that is becoming more and more obsolete by the day as are railroads. In Miami for example, there are only a handful of draw bridges left and are being replace either by satellite controlled or fixed concrete bridges. There are only two vertical lift bridges left in this state, one of which I have a video to and will include a link in the description.
