Tour the Tilman Fertitta Family Tactical Training Center | Houston Police

Take a tour through HPD's Tilman Fertitta Family Tactical Training Center, a multi-million-dollar training facility that allows officers and cadets to experience realistic, "dangerous" training scenarios in a completely safe space.

The training center, funded by the Houston Police Foundation, will revolutionize training for our officers by providing a venue for a higher level of training to equip our Houston officers to arrive at a scene and immediately respond to emergency situations. This is a critical step toward ensuring a safer tomorrow for all Houstonians.

The facility allows for outside training with Regional Partners, conducted by the Tactical Training Center officers. Anyone interested can contact the Training Academy at 832-394-2300.
