I am using a program called GlobalQuake, to track and record earthquakes that happen around the UK and SSI.

Earthquakes are uncommon in the UK, but they do still happen. Many earthquakes in the UK are unnoticiable, and quite small. However, we occationally get noticable earthquakes, around 10-20 every year are felt by people in the UK.

What program am I using?
GlobalQuake is an program which uses seismic stations to track and calculate earthquakes across the world. However, due to the program being in its early stages, magnitude finalisations can be wrong. You can check this by looking at the BGS website: https://earthquakes.bgs.ac.uk/earthquakes/...

What are the blue and red lines?
Blue lines are the Primary Wave (P-Wave), and is what is usually felt first during an earthquake. It is usually unnoticable-light shaking, and a few seconds after that the Secondary Wave (S-Wave) occurrs. This is stronger shaking than the P-wave, and usually lasts for a few seconds.
