Novel Synopsis:
The day I went to celebrate Christopher's birthday, I walked in on him hugging his stepsister all close and cozy.
He was soothing her in this gentle voice,
"I only dated her to spite Elias. You liked Elias, and he had a crush on her for so long."
Elias is Christopher's sworn enemy.
I never understood why Christopher hated him so much before.
Turns out it was all because his stepsister liked him.
So I just swung the door open and smashed the cake I worked so hard on right onto Christopher's head.
"You two idiots deserve each other."
Then I turned to Elias, who'd just rushed over, and snapped at him:
"You're an idiot too. You've had a crush for years and never said anything—what, you don't have a mouth or something?"
Elias looked all hurt and started signing to me.
