Whether he wanted to be in the position or not, Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran has been talking with the feds and it is now believed that Donald Trump materially misled Corcoran about what was happening with the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago so that Trump could continue to hide them from investigators. Well folks, it looks like one of the best witnesses that we have against Donald Trump might actually be one of his own lawyers. Evan Corcoran. You know the infamous Trump lawyer who drafted the document last summer that said, we have turned over all of the classified documents. He didn't sign it himself. He drafted it, but he didn't sign it. He made Christina Bob sign it. Now Bob herself has had to lawyer up because of her signature, but Evan Corcoran swore in that document, we have turned everything over. No need to send the FBI down here because you got all the stuff we had. I personally went and I found eight more classified documents and I handed 'em over to you. We're done here. Then of course, a month and a half later, the FBI went there. They found more than a hundred classified documents. So at the time it looked like Uhoh, Evan Corcoran and Christina Bob.

Y'all lied to investigators, but new evidence has emerged that may suggest that Evan Corcoran did not actually lie, or at least he didn't intend to lie, which would mean if this new evidence is accurate, that Evan Corcoran and Christina Bob would be off the hook because the new evidence suggests that Evan Corcoran was quote materially misled by his client, Donald Trump. And that phrase, materially misled is key here because what we now know according to the reports is that Evan Corcoran did actually put in a good faith effort to go and find those documents that the National Archives DOJ said, Hey, they're still down there. So Corcoran personally went and searched the storage room where the documents had been and he found eight of 'em. And then he went up to Donald Trump's aids and said, Hey, I was just in the storeroom. I found these eight documents.

I need to go search more places to see if there's anything else. And the AIDS said, no, no, you cannot do that. We're not gonna let you go. Look in these places, there's nothing there. Don't worry about it. But you are not allowed to look. Go write your little document and say you've done everything you can do. That's what these reports are saying because that is allegedly what Corcoran has told the special prosecutor. And if that is the case, if Donald Trump did materially mislead his own lawyer, then that would mean his lawyer would basically have to become a witness against him in order to protect his own behind. Because if Corcoran was not materially misled, then he could be looking at obstruction or perjury charges. So in order to clear his name, whether he wants to or not, he has to roll on Donald Trump and the rest of the staffers at Mar-a-Lago. And the judge has already said that none of this is protected by attorney-client privilege cuz we believe it was used in the

Furtherance of a crime. So there is nothing stopping Corcoran from telling all that he knows. And based on these reports, it seems like he is saying everything he knows. So it's gonna be fun to watch this play out. But again, the thing that just blows my mind is that the person who may seal Donald Trump's fate, put him behind bars, maybe is actually his own lawyer who he lied to.
