Daniel 6 – Daniel in the Lions’ Den

Under King Darius, jealous officials plot against Daniel by targeting his devotion to God. Despite a decree forbidding prayer, Daniel continues praying faithfully. He is thrown into the lions’ den, but God shuts the lions’ mouths and preserves him. His faith leads to God being honored throughout the kingdom.

📖 Lesson:
Faithfulness to God must remain constant, even when laws or culture oppose it. God is able to protect and vindicate those who trust Him.

Daniel 7 – The Vision of Four Beasts

Daniel receives a vision of four great beasts representing powerful kingdoms. Above them all stands the “Ancient of Days,” and one “like a Son of Man” is given everlasting dominion. This vision emphasizes that while earthly kingdoms rise and fall, God’s eternal kingdom prevails.

📖 Lesson:
Earthly power is temporary, but God’s kingdom is eternal. God remains seated in authority over every nation and era.

Daniel 8 – The Ram and the Goat

Daniel sees another vision symbolizing future empires and conflicts. Though the events described are intense and troubling, the vision confirms that history unfolds according to God’s appointed timeline.

📖 Lesson:
God knows the future and governs it. Even in times of turmoil, He is in control and fulfills His purposes precisely.
