I purchased a really cool looking iron plant stand from an estate sale in the neighborhood and decided to clean it up and make it presentable. I also found a cool pot for it.

Using a wire brush on a drill, along with some sandpaper, I removed the surface rust and then coated it with boiled linseed oil. I felt like it will look nicer than coating it with some black Rustoleum or some other form of durable spray paint.

Since I left the rusty patina, I figure I did a rustoration, rather than a restoration.
