Gujarat Riot: SIT Files Chargesheet Against Teesta Setalvad | 'Wanted Death Sentence For PM Modi'

As per the latest news, A special investigation team on Wednesday filed a charge sheet against activist Teesta Setalvad and two others in connection with the 2002 Gujarat riots cases. The trio - including retired Director General of Police RB Sreekumar and former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt - have been accused of fabricating information and attempting to frame the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Setalvad, arrested in the last week of June, was released on interim bail following a September 2 order of the Supreme Court.
