Surviving 24 Hours in Tokyo's Wilderness

Japan is full of weird places and things to do. Most tourists and foreigners when they travel to Japan they simply go to Tokyo and hang around in the city with other foreigners but rarely people realize that Tokyo actually has mountains right next to it and I'm not talking about just mount fuji, but the other forest and mountain areas actually between Tokyo and Fuji. In this one I decided to go out there and camp overnight in the mountains of Japan even though I'm simply a complete foreigner anime nerd and not one of those survivalists who do this kind of stuff on youtube by living and camping in nature for millions of people.

I met a lot of people on the trail like two american guys and of course many Japanese people, who I tried to talk to in Japanese as much as I could for your entertainment. I was even lucky enough to see some deer, of course not as much as you'd see in Nara for example if you travel there but still it was a really cool experience to see deer when hiking in Japanese mountains.
