Sonic Superstars: Fang the Hunter (remake + extension) - Jade Jovian

Started out as a 1:1 recreation for fun, until I decided to make it it's own project, adding some parts to make it sound more "full" imo, and a bit closer to how a Genesis track would utilize it's channels. I finally managed to find Sonic 3's drum samples, compressed and original, so I'm now using those as well. Future music will also be easier for me to make now that I'm finally getting used to FL Studio.

There's an ongoing theory claiming that there were more songs in this soundtrack that were meant to be rearranged, but never were (classic SEGA mismanagement). I've been on the fence about it, due to the overall details of this OST being a mystery (including the credits for most of the songs). But if it's true, Fang's theme would definitely be one of those. I did experiment with different guitars, but surprisingly the originals fit best.

Currently giving the Act 2 boss theme the same treatment, so stay tuned!

(and of course, this is not a rag on the original, just something I made for fun)
