Meaning of the song:
We're living in a weird time. As someone who grew up while the internet slowly took over, I feel like I had time to get used to it, but what I'm seeing more and more these days is young kids believing everything they see on social media. That’s where they get their entertainment, their news, and obviously their music from.

Speaking for myself, I’ve noticed how exhausting and depressing it can be to always stay online. Everything is so fast-paced, and with AI getting better and better, it's hard to tell what's real anymore. Of course, it's an amazing tool for getting my music out there and connecting with you guys, but I hope you know what I mean.

I feel like it's becoming more and more important to take social media, or even full internet breaks to spend quality time doing whatever you love. So often I catch myself doom-scrolling and wasting time, even though I could be doing something that actually makes me happy. And this is coming from someone who's constantly comparing himself to others… so I can’t help but wonder what it’s doing to the newer generation.
