Another video from Madison Square Garden in New York City, November 13, 2002, showcasing the "Three Musketeers" on guitars: Bob Dylan, Charlie Sexton, and Larry Campbell. With an occasional pop-in by Tony "D'Artagnan" Garnier.

Or given the song they're playing, perhaps they are closer to the "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse."

In any case, together with the unseen aid of drummer George Recile, Dylan and his band cook up a powerfully howling version of "All Along the Watchtower," punctuated by Bob's enthusiastic vocal performance including an especially dramatic ending, which as the second encore would have ended the show if Bob and the band had not returned to the stage after that for one more special extra encore, to honor George Harrison,

All in all, it was a great show.

As video, I could have done with a bit less of Sexton blocking Bob Dylan while looking and grinning at someone on his right it seems, but this happens less and less as time goes on. One can hardly blame Sexton, anyway. After all, he probably had no idea he was getting in the way between Dylan and the camera.

This is the second 4K upgraded video from this show, following "Blowin' in the Wind" which debuted a couple of days earlier. There are quite a few more to come.
