The Scots College - Pipes and Drums ANZAC DAY 2024

Описание к видео The Scots College - Pipes and Drums ANZAC DAY 2024

I was a boarder at The Scots College for many years and attended school because the school was first established in my Great Grandfathers house in Brighton-Le-Sands, later known as The old Millers Brighton Hotel, on The Grand Parade (Cnr Bay St & Princess St). The Scots College was later moved to Bellevue Hill where the school is today. At that tIme in the Brighton-Le-Sands area, there was a Racecourse with lots of gambling and alcohol so the Presbyterian Minister at that time decided this was not a good location for a school. Hence, The Scots College was moved and relocated to Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill.

My cousins were in the school board as were other cousins in school while I was there. I finished school in 1962.
