Donald Trump apparently is having so much fun at his fraud trial that he just wants it to go on forever without any end in sight. It was revealed this week that Trump and his lawyers have a list of 127 witnesses that they would like to call up to the stand once the prosecution rests, which according to Trump's legal team, could take more than a month to go through all of these 127 people. But to be fair, it actually doesn't end at 127 people because there is a 128th option that is quote, anyone on the plaintiff's witness list who is not otherwise here. So they've got 127 people they want to call to the witness stand, plus possibly everybody that was on the, uh, plaintiff's, uh, prosecution's witness list as well. If they're not, you know, already on the other list. So 150 people, 200 people, I don't know, but definitely over a hundred is what they say.

Does he have the authority to even tamp down on it? Honestly, that's kind of a gray area. If the defense has this many witnesses, technically speaking, they're allowed to call them.
Now, the amount of questioning, the amount of time per witness, that can vary. If the judge thinks a witness is, you know, immaterial to what's happening, or if you get witnesses that are acting up or whatever, the judge can dismiss them immediately. But if Trump's team does want to call 127 people, they likely will be given the green light to call 127 people. And again, that's only going to delay the inevitable. Gerron has already decided that Donald Trump is liable for this, that his kids are liable for it, that the company is liable for it. We're not determining guilt in this trial. For what Trump has to pay for it. And he doesn't want to pay that price. He doesn't want to get that judgment against him before the end of the year either, right? I mean, tax purposes, things like that. I know he wouldn't have to pay it before the end of the year. However, getting that judgment against you in that calendar year, that's gonna change things. There's all kinds of weird financial, accounting, legal things that Donald Trump wants to push off into next year. Will he be able to do it again? Probably. But are there actually 127 people on this planet that can take the stand under oath and say that yes, Donald Trump is straight as an arrow, as a businessman. He didn't commit any fraud. That I highly doubt.
