Actor Anupam Kher has taken an initiative to conduct relief activities for Covid crisis in India. Kher's 'Project Heal India' aims to provide medical aid & other relief to Covid patients. Kher launched the initiative with USA's Global Cancer Foundation & Bharat Forge, India. The organisations will provide life-supporting equipment to needy hospitals across India. The first consignment of medical aid is expected to arrive in India within the week. Consignment includes CrossVent Ventilators, Medtronic Ventilators, oxygen concentrators. Project Heal India pledged to do its best to address the needs created by the pandemic. The initiative will also contribute to raise funds, medicines and other necessary relief material. Meanwhile, Sonu Nigam inaugurated an oxygen bank & isolation centre in Mumbai. The initiative for Covid positive patients was taken by MP Manoj Kotak. The Covid care centre is opened at Friends School Academy in Mulund.
